Where is Parre?
The village of Parre is located in the Lombardy region of Italy, approximately 30km north of the city of Bergamo, and a 40 minute drive from Bergamo's Orio al Serio airport.
The lovely town of Clusone is a short (6km) drive or bus ride from Parre, and offers all kinds of boutiques, restaurants and other attractions. Our About Clusone page gives detailed information about the amenities available and events being held in the town throughout the year.
The city of Bergamo is just a short (30km) drive or bus ride away, and is well worth a visit. Lake Garda and Gardaland, which are Italy's largest lake and amusement park respectively, are approximately 90 minutes (120km) drive from the apartment.
On a slightly smaller scale, but no less impressive, is Lake Iseo, which is just 22km from Parre. The small town of Lovere is an ideal place to visit the lake, with plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a nice selection of shops on offer.
The city of Milan is approximately 90 minutes drive from Parre.

Sports / Activities
The local ski and snowboard resorts are Presolana / Monte Pora (25km) and Colere (30km). A little further away, but still less than an hour by car, is the resort of Montecampione.
Another local attraction is the paragliding and paramotoring club Aero Club AlipFly, which offers flights from four different sites, all within a few kilometres of Parre. This club is officially recognised by the AeCI (Aero Club d'Italia) and caters for both novice and experienced pilots.
